Also… Why Are We Proud of Being Exhausted?

Hey,

Yesterday we talked about how we’ve normalized feeling slightly off.

The afternoon crash.
The random dip.
The “don’t schedule anything after lunch” rule.

But can we talk about something else?

Why are we proud of being exhausted?

“I only slept 4 hours.”
“I’ve been back-to-back all day.”
“I haven’t stopped.”

Since when is depletion a flex?

It’s like we’re competing in the Olympics of Overdoing It.

Gold medal in:

Answering emails while eating.
Scrolling while watching something.
Thinking about tomorrow while living today.

And if you’re not tired?

People get suspicious.

“You have energy? Must be nice.”

Yes. It is nice.

And it’s not because I suddenly became superhuman.

It’s because I stopped treating low energy like a personality trait.

That post-lunch crash I told you about?

I used to schedule around it.

Now I don’t.

Not because I try harder.
Not because I drink something extreme.
Not because I hacked my life.

Because I consistently support my body: morning, middle, and night.

Sleep.
Focus.
Calm.
Energy.

Not as emergency tools.

As standards.

Here’s the wild idea:

Feeling steady shouldn’t feel lucky.

It should feel normal.

Healify isn’t about doing more.

It’s about not running on empty.
